**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Director to join our team at Listgrove Ltd. As a senior member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function and driving strategic purchasing strategies in line with business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of polymers or speciality chemicals, a proven track record in managing multi-million pound spends, and strong leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic purchasing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and reducing costs while maintaining quality.

This role requires a strong understanding of procurement principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for procurement, we encourage you to apply.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and execute strategic purchasing strategies in line with business objectives
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Reduce costs while maintaining quality
  • Lead the purchasing team and provide guidance on best practices

**Requirements:**

  • Formal qualification in supply chain management or equivalent business qualification
  • Previous procurement experience of at least 20 years
  • Strong procurement and contract management knowledge and experience
  • Proven track record in managing multi-million pound spends

**Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum**, depending on experience.
