Quality Assurance Supervisor

**Job Summary**

Kandhu Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team in the Food manufacturing industry. As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and organizing the QA team, developing and training departmental staff, and ensuring communication within the QA department.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Supervise and day-to-day organize the QA team, develop and train all departmental staff as part of a continual improvement on systems and resources
* Ensure communication is maintained within the QA department by chairing daily hand-over meetings, and structured individual monthly assessments meetings to monitor improvements
* Ensure that systems of traceability are correctly operated at each stage of manufacture, validate traceability by ensuring traceability studies are carried to schedule; encompassing an annual recall traceability study and mass balance exercise to schedule
* Carry out a process audit for all new product launches to ensure the product meets the agreed specification and all the associated machinery controlling CCP's & weight control are programmed to specification

**Requirements**

* Food manufacturing experience is essential for this position, ideally from within Chilled foods, Ready meals, Soups, Sauces etc
* Will need to have an excellent eye for detail
* Will have previous supervisory experience
