Job Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Assistant to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh innovative food services to independent schools and colleges. As a General Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining cleanliness of the front of house areas, and providing friendly and efficient service to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to established menus and recipes.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas, including organising dishes and utensils.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Provide friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes, addressing any concerns or special dietary needs.

Requirements

  • Experience working within education catering.
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
  • Fun and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • A team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Flexible approach to work.
