Junior Supply Chain Planner Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Parkside Recruitment. The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience within logistics or supply chain and knowledge in stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales orders of our distributors, liaising with the warehouse, suppliers and other members of the team to ensure timely queries are looked after and goods are shipped in line with customers' expectations.
- Contribute to demand planning and reporting of sales, stock, backorders and shipment schedules.
- Support the Account management team with implementation of new business/lines of products, and projects to improve the efficiency of the company.
Requirements:
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Good Communication skills.
- Excellent Customer service attitude (internal/external).
- Proactiveness.
- Teamwork and cooperation with colleagues.
- Personal responsibility.
- Commercial awareness.
- Ability to manage priorities.
- Initiative and problem solving attitude.
- MS Office.
This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility to go perm at the end. The salary is £26k and the job is fully office based (after 6 months probation you will be entitled to hybrid 2 days at home). Hours are 9-5 (can be flex eg 8-4) Mon- Fri and the location is Stockley Park with parking on-site. There is a performance bonus - discretionary bonus which is based on Company and Personal performance.
