Risk and Security Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Risk, Business Continuity and Security Advisor to join our team at Cheshire West and Chester Council. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in promoting and developing Council processes for risk management, business continuity, and employee personal security.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement risk management frameworks to identify, manage, and mitigate strategic and operational risks.
- Design and maintain robust business continuity plans to ensure effective response to potential threats to service delivery.
- Establish and maintain security policies and procedures to mitigate security risks to staff.
- Collaborate with the team to transform the way we work, leveraging digital systems and tools, and exploring opportunities for automation and AI.
As a Risk, Business Continuity and Security Advisor at Cheshire West and Chester Council, you will have the opportunity to work with a well-established and progressive team, providing valued advice and guidance to support innovation and excellent service delivery.
