Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Career Progression Specialist to join our team at Catch22. The successful candidate will play a leading role in recruiting learners onto our programme and supporting them throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit learners onto the programme through engaging with local authorities, schools, colleges, and referring agencies.
- Conduct regular 1-2-1 progress reviews with learners to identify career progression and work placement choices.
- Liaise with teaching staff and attend weekly meetings with the lead tutor to discuss progress and create a bespoke learner journey.
- Support learners on their work experience placements and help them stay motivated and engaged.
- Network with other agencies, parents, and carers involved in supporting individual learners.
Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Experience working in an education or vocational training setting.
- Good practical knowledge of common ICT software packages.
- Able to engage, inspire, and motivate young people to be at their best.
- Strong communication and engagement skills.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary of £26,000 per annum.
- A full-time contract with 37 hours per week.
- The opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team.
