Job Overview

Main Duties of the Job
  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with mental health conditions, including assessments, interventions, and support.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of patients.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and carers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to occupational therapy services.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist who has:

  • Diploma or BSc in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Accreditation as a Practice Placement Educator or working towards accreditation.

Desirable criteria include:

  • CLAIT/ECDL or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate clinical training relevant to the post.
  • Leadership or management training.
