Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planner to join our team at OneDome. As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for providing tailored financial advice to professionals in the contracting and freelance community.
Key Responsibilities- Contact clients to schedule in-depth reviews of their financial circumstances, current provisions, and future aims.
- Analyse information and collaborate with a Paraplanner/administrator to prepare recommendations best suited to individual clients' requirements.
- Research approved product providers and provide clients with information on new and existing products and services.
- Design financial strategies to meet clients' needs.
- Stay up-to-date with financial products and legislation.
- Review Financial Reports generated by a supporting Paraplanner.
- Keep clients informed about new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments.
- Develop a client bank and maximise opportunities to build profitable relationships.
- Ensure technical knowledge is maintained and CPD records are filed in accordance with compliance rules and procedures.
- Follow a pre-defined review process for clients to ensure service delivery in line with the agreed fee/retainer/service level.
- Use internal systems effectively and accurately, and record and update client detail.
- Diploma Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Pension and Investment products is essential.
- Excellent working knowledge of Pensions and Pension Transfers.
- Good working knowledge of CGT and Income Tax calculations.
- Ability to work in a compliant manner within the regulatory framework.
- Strong track record of achieving targets and a desire to meet future targets.
- Ability to maximise on leads provided by the business by converting large numbers into advocates to produce organic leads from existing clients.
- Excellent telephone manner and good written communication skills are essential.
- Competitive salary – Starting at c£35,000+ (dependent on experience) plus bonus.
- Hybrid working – the role will typically involve working in the office 1 day a week with ad hoc visits as required. The remainder of the week will be remote/home working.
