Job Overview

We are seeking experienced educators to provide high-quality tuition in maths, English, and science subjects to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities
  • Tuition Delivery: Provide tailored educational support to students with SEN in maths, English, and science subjects.
  • Individualised Learning Plans: Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Progress Assessment: Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK education system.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs.
  • Experience in using assistive technology in teaching.
  • Experience working with students with specific learning difficulties.
Position Details
  • Part-time hours, around 10-15 hours per week.
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension.
  • Flexible schedule based on student availability.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience. Teaching Personnel offers all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'.
