About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

As a Sports Coach, you will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and engaging environment for our campers. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver sports sessions that cater to the needs and abilities of our campers, ensuring that every child has a fun and active experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years
  • Design and implement sports programmes that cater to the needs and abilities of our campers
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and team to ensure a safe and engaging environment for our campers
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks, swimming sessions, and other activities
  • Record any incidents or accidents that may occur during the camp

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team-player qualities
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (training opportunities are available)
