The University of Oxford seeks a highly qualified Contemporary European Historian to join its Faculty of History and contribute to the development of its research and teaching programmes in this field.

The successful candidate will be expected to conduct innovative research in the field of Contemporary European History, teach undergraduate and graduate students, and contribute to the development of the faculty's research strategy.

We are looking for a scholar who has a strong track record of publication, a proven ability to lead and inspire others, and a commitment to collaborative working. A PhD in a relevant field is required, as well as the ability to communicate complex historical issues to diverse audiences.

This position offers a competitive salary of £100,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to world-class facilities and resources.
