Job Title: Science Mentorship Role

Location: Central Birmingham

School Type: Secondary School

Type of Role: Fixed-term contract (December 2024 - July 2025)

We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Science Mentorship Role. As a mentor, you will work closely with under-achieving physics students, providing one-to-one and small group support to help raise their attainment levels and bridge the gap between them and their peers.

Based at an 'Outstanding' secondary school in central Birmingham, you will be part of a supportive team that is passionate about providing excellent education and care for students.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or undergraduate with a physics-related degree to gain experience in a school environment while training as a Physics Teacher.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to under-achieving physics students
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the best possible support

We offer a competitive daily rate of £80-£90, making this an attractive opportunity for anyone looking to start their teaching career.
