About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Officer to join our team at Allenby Primary School. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for managing the school's financial administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders, invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process financial transactions, including orders, invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain the school's inventory in collaboration with the Senior Business Manager
  • Ensure outstanding financial audit outcomes by taking proactive measures
  • Utilize excellent English, Maths, Excel, Communication, and IT skills to perform duties
  • Prior experience in a school office environment is preferred
  • Proficiency in FMS and experience with finance systems, ledgers, and spreadsheets
  • Budget monitoring, including virements, figures, and journals
