**Electromechanical Engineer Role**
Damicor Ltd is seeking an experienced Electromechanical Engineer to join our service department based in the Heathrow area.

As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, installing, and repairing Trace and X-Ray equipment at customer sites, mainly at Heathrow Airport.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, service, install, and repair Trace and X-Ray equipment at customer sites
- Provide customer training as needed
- Document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work promptly
- Manage repair parts cycle time, order, install, and return parts efficiently
- Review logs for open issues, prepare formal reports to customers
- Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment
- Provide technical support to customers and peers
- Participate in site surveys, pilot programs, special projects, and meetings
- Establish and maintain close relationships with senior FSEs and Product Managers
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
Your Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 3 Engineering qualification (electrical, electronic, mechanical) or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in reading electrical/mechanical schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in field repair of electrical and electronic systems
- Computer literacy; MS Office Suite proficiency and aptitude for learning specialized software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle stressful situations
- Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable individual
- Willingness to travel at short notice
- Manual handling ability
Our estimated salary for this role is £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, depending on experience.
