Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team at MWH Treatment Limited. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering cost-effective, technically compliant, and buildable electrical solutions for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce electrical designs that meet client specifications and are feasible for construction.
  • Produce and check design deliverables, including specifications, schedules, drawings, and calculations.
  • Ensure designs comply with CDM Regulations and industry standards.
  • Utilize standard designs and design practices to optimize efficiency.
  • Deliver design stage outputs within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Coordinate design outputs across technical disciplines.
  • Prepare monthly project status reports.
  • Establish relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and supply chain efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Chartered or near chartered status in a construction discipline.
  • Experience in the Water treatment Industry.
  • Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
