We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to join our client based in Renfrewshire. As part of A1 Jobs Ltd, we offer a challenging and rewarding role that requires proactive/reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • In the absence of immediate supervisor, assess and prioritise your own workload to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Support the installation of new machines and equipment to manufacturer specifications.
About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have an Apprentice trained, HND/HNC or equivalent qualification, with fast-paced manufacturing experience desirable. You will be expected to have working knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes & motors, as well as PLC fault finding experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

We estimate the salary for this position to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will benefit from a competitive package including salary, annual leave, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Apprentice trained, HND/HNC or equivalent qualification.
  • Fast-paced manufacturing experience is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes & motors will be expected in this role, as will PLC fault finding experience.
