Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Global Intellectual Property Content Developer to join our team at DLA Piper. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with a global law firm, assisting in the development and management of legal content and training for clients and lawyers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including horizon scanning, production of client content, tools, and products, as well as organizing legal training sessions. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with people at all levels, possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be organized with excellent attention to detail.

About the Role
  • Assist in monitoring legal developments and horizon scanning, including new and developing technical areas such as AI.
  • Contribute to the production of content for clients, including newsletters.
  • Develop new intellectual property tools for clients.
  • Support with basic research and day-to-day fee earner enquiries.
  • Participate in sector enquiries, particularly in the Tech, Life Sciences, MSE, and CGFR sectors.
  • Collaborate in the development of content for and organization of contributions to thought leadership articles, multi-jurisdictional guides, and campaigns.
  • Deliver training sessions.
  • Collect, redact, and profile documents for the Knowledge Hub.
Requirements
  • Law or non-law degree.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and have a problem-solving approach.
  • Computer literate.
Benefits
