Principal Cyber Security Specialist

Job Description:
As a Principal Cyber Security Specialist at ZipRecruiter, you will be responsible for building a risk-based set of cyber security requirements for systems or subsystems, providing technical guidance and support for all aspects of cyber security and resilience.
You will conduct cyber security analysis work, developing threat taxonomies, security architectures, security baselines, and risk mitigations. Additionally, you will produce test plans and schedules, conducting informal and formal cyber security testing, and supporting engineering-gated reviews and design assurance activities.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience with using security baselines, mitigations, and controls, and a strong understanding of engineering principles and life cycle phased approaches. A recognized industry security qualification, such as CCP, CISSP, or CISM, and proven experience in assessing and managing risk will also be essential.
We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, annual leave allowance, and a Company Contributed Share Incentive Plan.
