Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Panel Wirer Specialist to join our team at NZero Group. As a Panel Wirer Specialist, you will be responsible for the construction of control panels and equipment following schematic drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construction of Control Panels: Construct control panels and equipment following schematic drawings, ensuring high-quality and precise workmanship.
  • Reading and Interpreting Schematics: Read and interpret schematic drawings to understand the requirements and specifications of the control panels.
  • Preparation for Testing: Prepare equipment and panels for testing, ensuring that all necessary components are in place and functioning correctly.
  • Maintenance of Safe Working Practices: Maintain safe working practices and adhere to quality control procedures at all times, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of Quality Standards: Maintain quality standards within build, ensuring that all control panels meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Support to Manufacturing Team: Support the Manufacturing Team on ad hoc tasks as required, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Continuous Improvement: Be involved in continuous improvement of working practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Panel Wirer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of electrical panel construction and fabrication.
  • Manufacturing or Engineering Environment: Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a strong understanding of quality control procedures and safe working practices.
  • Teamwork and Attention to Detail: Ability to work within a team, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Full Driving Licence: Full driving licence, with the ability to travel to client sites as required.

Desirable Skills:

  • 18th Edition: 18th edition certification, with a strong understanding of electrical panel construction and fabrication.
  • NG Regulations and Requirements: Experience working on behalf of National Gas, with a strong understanding of NG regulations and requirements.
  • Oil and Gas Industry: Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry, with a strong understanding of the industry's specific requirements and regulations.
  • Forklift Truck Licence: Forklift truck licence, with the ability to operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently.
