At GLL, we're seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join our team at Sleaford Leisure Centre in Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about swimming and providing exceptional customer service.
This role is more than just supervising the pool area; it's about ensuring the safety of our customers while also being part of a dynamic team that strives for excellence.
To succeed in this position, you'll need to possess excellent communication skills, be calm under pressure, and have a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
We're offering a competitive salary of £23,000 per annum, which reflects the importance of this role in ensuring our customers' safety and satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have their National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and up-to-date training records. If not, NPLQ training can be provided subject to passing a swim test.
You'll be responsible for supervising and cleaning the pool area, setting up equipment, delivering first-class customer service, and dealing with customer queries. When not poolside, you'll support your team on a daily basis by preparing studios, gyms, or sports halls for various activities and contributing to the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the centre.
We offer a range of benefits, including learning and development opportunities, a good pension scheme, discounted gym membership, flexible working arrangements, industry-leading rates of pay, and career pathways for professional growth.
