Multi Trade Operative Voids Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our Trades team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard, carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys, and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs in various trades, including plumbing, carpentry, joinery, painting and decorating, plastering, wall and floor tiling, and roofing.
- Ensuring the safe and proper use of all mechanical and non-mechanical plant and equipment under their direct control.
- Planning, prioritising, and managing their own workload to achieve deadlines and effectively using hand-held electronic devices.
About You:
We are looking for a qualified Trades Maintenance Professional who holds a City & Guilds or NVQ2 level qualification in Building Maintenance, Multi Trade repair and refurbishment operations, or demonstrates equivalent trade experience.
Prior experience of working within the social housing sector would be beneficial, and the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage workload is essential.
The successful candidate will also possess a Full UK Driver's License to enable them to travel to multiple locations weekly, and will be provided with transport.
