About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group Ltd. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing, building, integrating, and providing through-life support to secure and resilient systems and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop secure and resilient systems and products
  • Assess and manage risk in line with industry good practice (NIST, ISO 27001)
  • Implement security baselines, mitigations, and controls
  • Conduct product security activities in the defence, maritime, or closely linked domain
  • Ensure compliance with MOD Policies and regulations, including SPF, JSP 440, and JSP604
  • Develop Risk Management Accreditation Document Sets (RMADS)

Requirements

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant STEM subject or Information Security related field
  • Recognised industry security qualifications, such as CCP, CISSP, or CISM
  • Proven experience in assessing and managing risk
  • Significant experience with security baselines, mitigations, and controls
  • Experience of product security activities in the defence, maritime, or closely linked domain
  • Knowledge of the challenges affecting security of Operational Technologies/Industrial Control Systems and approaches to secure them
