About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our mission to raise awareness about dementia in local communities. As a Community Awareness Ambassador, you will play a vital role in ensuring that people who are worried about or affected by dementia are aware of the support and advice services we offer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support local events and initiatives to promote awareness about dementia
- Hold information stands and display leaflets in high-visibility locations, such as libraries and GP surgeries
- Establish connections with local organisations and community groups to promote our services
- Ensure that information publicised in the community is up-to-date and accurate
What We Offer
As a representative of Alzheimer's Society, you will receive branded clothing and may have the opportunity to be included in event pictures to showcase our work in the local media.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for raising awareness about dementia.
