We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registration Technician to join our team at Kenton Black Science & Engineering. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for the receipt, registration, and analysis of samples in our microbiological testing laboratory.
Main Responsibilities:- Receipt and registration of samples into our Laboratory Electronic Management System
- Analysis of samples as required, following thorough training and guidance
- Prioritization and time management of samples to maintain a continuous flow of samples in stability
- Ensuring samples received are handled in accordance with documented procedures, including temperature control, storage, and maintenance of sample integrity
- Identifying any anomalies and deviated samples, and applying deviating comments as required
- Communicating with clients in a professional manner regarding sample queries
- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to documented procedures for all aspects of laboratory work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm, energy, and a driven outlook
- Good team player with strong communication and organizational skills
The working hours for this role will be Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00am - 2:00pm. The pay rate for this position will be £11.54 per hour.
