Fabrication Engineer position available at our Manufacturing Recruitment Limited company, located in Whitstable, Kent.
About the Role
This is a permanent position with an estimated salary of £38,500 per annum. The successful candidate will be responsible for working within a factory environment to produce high quality enclosures using various skills and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Fabricate sheet metal products, including punching, forming, and welding
• Weld lightweight steel components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Meet quality targets and production deadlines set by the production manager
• Contribute to reducing waste levels and improving efficiencies
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have good numeracy and literacy skills, as well as experience in fabrication and welding. Familiarity with machinery and tools such as welders, routers, circular bench saws, and more is desirable. Ability to read and follow operating procedures, work safely, and contribute to a positive team environment is essential.
