Our Team
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital. As a key member of our department, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality nuclear medicine services, working closely with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.

**Job Summary:**
The post holder will be responsible for performing various tasks, including imaging procedures, radiopharmaceutical administration, and equipment maintenance. A strong background in medical physics or a related field is essential, along with experience in nuclear medicine and gamma camera operation. Excellent technical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are also required.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform imaging procedures using gamma cameras and associated equipment
* Administer radiopharmaceuticals via i.v. and intra-dermal routes
* Maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards
* Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality patient care
* Participate in continuous professional development, staying updated on industry advancements and best practices

**Person Specification:**
Essential Qualifications:
* HNC/Degree in Medical Physics/Physiological Measurement or equivalent
* Accredited nuclear medicine technologist training (e.g., IPEM)
* Eligibility for registration with the Register of Clinical Technologists/HCPC

Desirable Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MSc)
* Teaching qualification

Essential Experience:
* Significant experience in nuclear medicine and gamma camera operation

Salary:
£45,707 - £56,585 per annum (depending on experience)
