Are you a motivated and experienced retail professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Home Retail Store Manager to join our team in Dundee.

About the Role:

As a Home Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Dundee store, including leading a team of staff and volunteers to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff and volunteers to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including stock management, visual merchandising, and cash handling
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, staff, and volunteers to ensure a positive and inclusive store environment
  • Monitor and control store expenses to ensure profitability and meet budget targets

Requirements:

  • Previous retail management experience, ideally within a charity or not-for-profit organisation
  • Experience of leading and motivating a team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, staff, and volunteers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
