We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Henderson Brown Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical maintenance, preferably in a high-volume, fast-moving environment. They should hold formal qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering, backed by suitable training and experience. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this role, as the candidate will need to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude while providing exemplary customer service. They should also be able to work independently, carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Experience with CMMS or EAM systems is highly desirable, as is a proven track record of driving continuous improvement activities. The ability to work to British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards is also essential.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team and contribute to the smooth operation of production processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including repairing various equipment used in the production of FMCG products. This may involve carrying out Predictive Maintenance (PPM) activities, attending to machinery breakdowns, and fault finding electrical and mechanical machinery. The individual will work closely with the Engineering Manager to support projects and collaborate with the wider engineering team.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Henderson Brown Recruitment offers a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
