About the Job

We're looking for a skilled academic mentor to work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. As a learning support specialist, you'll be responsible for creating a positive and supportive learning environment to help students build confidence and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the student's individual learning needs and goals
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate children with SEN/SEMH challenges
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents, schools, or local authorities as required
  • Work collaboratively with schools and families to ensure the child's needs are met
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions and comply with safeguarding protocols
