Executive Sales Director

About the Role
Avery Dennison Smartrac seeks a seasoned Sales Director to lead our Technical Sales team for our fast-growing Sensor related product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Empower and enable a team of seasoned Technical Salespeople by leveraging skill sets, deep industry knowledge, and key relationships.
- Support team members' personal development and overall growth.
- Build a sustainable organization that drives growth well into the future through team engagement, knowledge sharing, cross-training, and clear succession planning.
- Manage current portfolios of business in the EU.
- Assess other key opportunities to advise on where to invest.
- Identify, assess, develop, and manage new programs and new business opportunities for assigned products, leading to successful commercialization efforts.
- Incorporate knowledge of the industry to partner with stakeholders to develop market-right products and support materials and pricing recommendations across all RFID solutions.
- Work with prospective customers to identify unmet needs and present compelling solutions.
- Initiate, determine, and present ROI business case analysis.
- Stay abreast of industry trends by attending trade shows, events, and staying on top of market insights as well as global branding trends.
- Surface new ideas, products, applications, and solutions to development teams.
- Communicate and link key value propositions and differentiators to customers with RBIS solutions.
- Craft customized go-to-market strategies for regions and individual customers.
- Develop long-term business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with business partners at customers' organizations.
- Collaborate with other business units to evaluate volume, identify trends, ensure quality.
