About the Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team at Canary Wharf Group plc As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day activities of our retail marketing department and driving the success of our retail marketing campaigns.

Your primary responsibility will be to administer all departmental databases and schedules, ensuring that digital screens, posters, product plinth displays, window display case schedules, and digital channels are kept up to date. You will also provide support in collaborating with the Retail Marketing Manager to retail tenants and encourage them to utilise the various local marketing initiatives available to them, with the objective of raising brand awareness, footfall, and spend for individual stores.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To create, develop, and maintain positive relationships with retail tenants; providing support and encouraging them to utilise the local marketing initiatives with the objective of raising brand awareness and in-store footfall and spend.
  • To assist with all aspects of small, medium, and large-scale events and projects facilitated and produced by the department.
  • Working alongside the Retail Marketing Manager, ensure thorough and effective communication with the working and residential populations ensuring that they are aware of retail activity, including events, new openings, and offers/promotions.
  • To ensure that shopping mall poster sites, product display plinths, and window displays are in immaculate condition.
  • To ensure that digital channels are maintained and are up-to-date with current event and retail information.
  • To deal with incoming telephone and e-mail enquiries from tenants, the public, charities, experiential marketing agencies, and suppliers.
  • To manage the department's accounts administration, raise purchase orders, and maintain accurate budgets.
  • To maintain an efficient digital filing and reporting system.
  • To actively keep up to date, researching and reporting on new trends and industry best practice.
  • To assist with generic departmental and office duties as and when required.
