Job Title:

Service & Commissioning Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Service & Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited. This role will play a key part in testing, commissioning, and maintaining safety and control systems on both onshore and offshore projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform hardware testing of low-voltage control systems.
  • Conduct software testing on platforms including Rockwell and Siemens.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues through fault finding and investigation.
  • Prepare project documentation as required.
  • Document test results and maintain detailed records for analysis.
  • Attend client sites for the installation, servicing, testing, and commissioning of products both onshore and offshore.
  • Provide on-site support as part of an on-call service contract rota when required.
Person Specification:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
  • Previous experience in commissioning industrial process, safety, and control systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Rockwell and Siemens software platforms (RSLogix 500, 5000, FT View, Siemens S7, WinCC, TIA Portal), including the ability to fault find, diagnose, and rectify software issues.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites, including offshore locations, as necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
