Job Title: Systems Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Systems Designer to join our Andretti Cadillac team at the Silverstone Facility. As a Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing parts and assemblies for one or more of our car systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare schemes, layouts, and detail drawings of car system parts.
  • Take ownership of your parts and ensure they meet requirements.
  • Act as a technical liaison with suppliers and users of your parts.
  • Stay current with developments within your area of responsibility.
  • Support sustainable manufacture without sacrificing car performance.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or similar.
  • Knowledge of the principles and physics of race car systems.
  • Experience of design of at least one of cooling system, fuel system, or hydraulic system ideally in the motorsport industry.
  • Clear and concise communication, verbally and in writing.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and comfortable working independently, while meeting challenging deadlines.
  • Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
