Proactive Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Proactive Sales Executive to join our team at JP Corry in Ballymena. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving proactive sales from our branch and working closely with our trade counter, yard operations, sales representatives, and drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solicit proactive sales from new and existing customers
- Support the external sales team with customer requests, such as technical information, updated quotes, or required product certification
- Place direct sales orders, organize delivery times, and notify customers
- Follow up on general phone enquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Process and authorize customer transactions, face-to-face, on the telephone, and online
- Identify and generate sales opportunities for our full range of products
- Ensure minimum stock shrinkage and accurate daily stock counts
- Complete transport audits and dispatch documentation as necessary
Requirements:
- A proven track record of sales/business development with a good understanding of product knowledge and routes to market
- Strong IT skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Natural passion for delivering an outstanding customer experience
- Confident working under pressure
- Ability to manage and prioritize own diary and workload
- Flexible and adaptable to meet ever-changing requests and demands
- Good problem-solving ability
- Prior experience of using a CRM system
