Temporary Procurement Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Tia for a 3-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services from local and overseas vendors.

Key responsibilities include preparing tender documents, handling contract management, and advising internal and external stakeholders on purchasing Terms & Conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Purchasing & Supply Management or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the healthcare industry or hospital.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating vendor performance, preparing monthly reports, and following up on outstanding POs in the system.

Additional duties may include handling "recall" and "complaint" cases, and undertaking any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements
  • Diploma in Purchasing & Supply Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the healthcare industry or hospital.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
