We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control Panel Builder to join our team at Novelus Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical control panels.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble and Wire Panels: Build, wire, and install electrical control panels according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout specifications.
  2. Troubleshoot and Test: Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on panels and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Install Components: Select and install appropriate components, including relays, circuit breakers, and power supplies, based on project requirements.
  4. Maintain Quality: Perform quality checks and inspections on panels, ensuring that all work complies with industry and safety standards.
  5. Document Work: Maintain accurate documentation of wiring layouts, modifications, and testing results.
  6. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
  7. FOLLOW SAFETY PROCEDURES: Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures and protocols, including PPE requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in control panel building, electrical assembly, or a similar role.
  2. Skills:
  • Electrical Schematics Reading: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Wiring and Installation: Hands-on experience with wiring, component installation, and use of hand and power tools.
  • ELECTRICAL SAFETY KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of electrical safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL).
  • Test Equipment Familiarity: Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, such as multimeter and continuity testers.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
