**About the Role**
NELFT North East London Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner to join their team.
The successful candidate will work with schools and other agencies to provide mental health support to children, young people, and their families. They will be responsible for delivering targeted interventions, whole-school approaches, and consultation and liaison services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the development of the service and ensure that it meets its core components.
The role requires excellent communication skills, knowledge of education systems, and experience working with children and young people. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting emotional wellbeing and mental health in educational settings.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver targeted interventions to children, young people, and their families
- Develop and implement whole-school approaches to promote emotional wellbeing and mental health
- Provide consultation and liaison services to schools and other agencies
**Requirements**
- Successful completion of Education Mental Health Practitioner course
- Experience of delivering specific therapeutic interventions to children, young people, or their families
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
**Salary and Benefits**
The salary for this role is £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, plus HCAS per annum. The post offers flexible working patterns, including part-time hours and job sharing.
