About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Orthoptist to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 7 Senior Specialist Orthoptist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our orthoptic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload, including core orthoptic, adult ocular motility, and paediatric clinics
  • Work closely with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement orthoptic-led sessions using the Plus Optix system
  • Contribute to the development of our orthoptic services, including the planning and delivery of training programs
