Job Title: Senior Associate - Structured Finance Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Structured Finance team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of our structured lending business and primary/secondary syndication activities within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in arranging, structuring, and participating in Project Finance transactions within the EMEA region.
  • Build up the loan portfolio and market track record for the Bank's Structured Finance business, including Project Finance and Export Buyer Credit.
  • Coordinate respective branches to initiate and complete the credit process of respective transactions.
  • Lead and/or coordinate respective branches in finance documents negotiation and review.
  • Coordinate and provide oversight for the branches in execution and completion of KYC process and drawdown preparation.
  • Manage the relevant Structured Finance loan portfolio in line with the Bank's policies.
  • Provide technical support to other business functions and entities within the Bank's group global network.
  • Execute other tasks as instructed, including internal business reporting, case studies, market reviews, business policy making, and reviews, and liaison with other Bank of China group entities.
  • Undertake various administration duties such as data collection and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in Finance, Banking, or other equivalent.
  • Relevant professional qualification advantageous.
  • Relevant experience within Financial Services industry, focusing on Project and Structured/Acquisition Finance.
  • Experience of undertaking project finance transactions and developing corporate relationships.
  • Excellent Corporate Banking knowledge with relevant sectors.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative credit analysis skills, with exemplary financial modelling experience.
  • Broad Project Finance/advisory experience with Renewable Energy and Infrastructure.
  • An ability to navigate around and understand financial statements and finance and security documentations, both bilateral and syndicated.
  • Logical, structured, and detail-focused with the ability to manage responsibilities in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Excellent communication skills.
