Job Title: Landfill Operations Manager
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

A rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Landfill Operations Manager to join our team at Project Partners. We are looking for a skilled professional to oversee the daily operation of our quarry site in Rugby, ensuring safe and efficient production of materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to legal requirements and company policies.
  • Organize, plan, and coordinate all aspects of landfill operations, including management of contractors, rail operations, and earthworks.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and incoming waste acceptance criteria.
  • Manage operations in line with local planning conditions.

Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory or management experience within a quarry or similar environment.
  • Good communication skills and a desire to develop your own skills.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Experience managing large earthworks contracts.
  • Hold or be willing to complete the Level 3 inert Landfill WAMITAB Qualification.
  • Hold SHE NVQ Level 4.
  • Have undertaken Geotechnical Training.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
