Job Summary

Thrive Group is seeking a skilled HGV Refuse Driver to join our team in providing a safe and efficient refuse collection service in the Rochdale area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a refuse collection vehicle in a safe and effective manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Undertake regular vehicle checks and report any defects to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Supervise and manage a crew to ensure efficient and effective refuse collection operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Hold a valid Class 2 HGV Licence (CAT C) and CPC qualification.
  • Have knowledge of current transport regulations and be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
  • Be able to work in all weather conditions and maintain a polite and friendly manner at all times.
  • Previous waste/refuse experience is preferred, but not essential - training will be provided on the job.
