The Role

We are seeking a Lead Geochemist to join our team. As a senior member of our geochemistry team, you will provide technical leadership and expertise in the consulting environment. Your experience in relevant industries, including mining and waste management, will be beneficial. Proven project management skills and ability to manage projects and staff financially are required. You will also be responsible for mentoring technical staff and providing technology transfer to others in the team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in geochemistry and hydrochemistry.
  • Develop and implement geochemical modelling using bespoke software.
  • Manage projects and staff financially.
  • Mentor technical staff and provide technology transfer to others in the team.

About You

  • You will have a relevant first degree and postgraduate geochemical or related qualification.
  • You will be working towards or be registered as Chartered through an UK recognised organisation or equivalent overseas organisation.
  • You will have experience in land quality (Contaminated land) and groundwater chemistry.
