About the Job

As an Art Teacher, you will have the chance to inspire and nurture students' creative abilities, fostering a passion for the arts and empowering them to express their unique perspectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive art lessons to students
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage students to explore different art forms and techniques
  • Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Supervise and assist students during practical art activities
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or similar teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching Art in a primary or secondary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of art techniques and history
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Passion for art education

This role comes with a competitive salary, paid to scale on MPS / UPS.
