Job Overview:

This role presents an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Occupational Therapist, working in various settings including paediatrics, trauma, orthopaedics, acute medicine, and community rehabilitation. Our Occupational Therapists are integral to delivering patient-centred care, enabling individuals to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, developing tailored treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with current evidence-based practice, applying this knowledge to inform clinical decisions and drive service improvement.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive records, adhering to professional, legal, and Trust requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with patients, carers, and colleagues, facilitating effective communication and ensuring a supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience within the NHS, preferably in occupational therapy, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Physical ability to work in various clinical settings, with access to a car for community placements.
