About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Breast Link Healthcare Assistant to join our welcoming Oncology team on a permanent basis for 22.5 hours per week.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking routine tasks related to the health and wellbeing of patients with a diagnosis of Breast Cancer. This includes practicing high standards of Infection Control, providing chaperone and support for Rapid Access "One Stop" Breast evening Clinics, and assisting the Cancer Services team in delivering exemplary patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require previous experience working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical/oncology environment. Basic numeracy and literacy are also essential, along with a Healthcare NVQ Level 2/3 or willingness to undertake one through our development programme.
