Job Overview:

Portfolio Payroll Limited is currently recruiting for a Payroll & Pensions Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the payroll team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the processing of a large monthly payroll with over 20,000+ employees
  • Develop and implement efficient payroll processes using ESR software
  • Ensure accurate and timely statutory deductions and submissions to HMRC
  • Manage year-end processes, including P11Ds
  • Lead and develop a team of 30+ payroll professionals
  • Train and develop team members, conduct appraisals, and one-to-one meetings
  • Recruit new hires
  • Deliver payroll projects
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll management
  • Familiarity with ESR payroll software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Benefits:

A competitive salary, estimated to be around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including a comprehensive training program, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for career progression.
