About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to support our regional Development Team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering civil engineering solutions for development infrastructure projects.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with colleagues to provide technical expertise and support the production of designs and drawings for construction projects and technical reports for masterplanning in support of planning applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in highway design, drainage strategy and design, flood risk assessment and management, and utility design and planning. A good working knowledge of the Development Industry and the ability to produce infrastructure masterplans, site appraisals, technical reports, design calculations and construction drawings are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing day-to-day support in the delivery of concept studies/strategies with hands-on design, leading to planning applications, technical approval submissions, and construction drawing issue.
  • Contributing to all types of Development projects across all sectors and clients.
  • Being active on several varied multi-disciplinary project/client accounts at any given time.
  • Providing guidance and support to a team of experienced and developing technical staff of various grades.
  • Involvement in high-profile client engagement, stakeholder management, design team liaison, and project management.
