Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing business based near Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient operation of production lines through effective adherence to preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Identify and rectify machine faults in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Oversee and undertake accurate and efficient changeovers to minimize downtime.
  • Provide on-the-job training to production team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Continuously improve machinery performance by analyzing downtime causes and implementing engineering improvements.
  • Ensure effective shift handovers through close liaison with production technicians.
  • Ensure the safe and effective operation of all machinery and report any failures to the Engineering Shift Manager.
  • Liaise with the engineering department to optimize production machinery performance.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to support improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
