The Acute Care Technology division of Zoll Medical Corporation is a global leader in developing and delivering innovative lifesaving products and software solutions to EMS, hospital, public safety, and military customers. Our team is responsible for the company's day-to-day financial matters, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices in accordance with financial policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Understand and manage expense accounts and cost centers, maintaining a high level of financial awareness.
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies in accounts payable processes, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Prepare and execute weekly payment runs, ensuring seamless financial transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Provide cover for employee expenses run processing and payments, ensuring continuity.
  • Download and process daily bank receipts, maintaining up-to-date financial information.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger, ensuring all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Take ownership of part of the debtor ledger, resolving outstanding payments and sending collection statements.
  • Communicate with customers to review outstanding invoices and agree on payment plans, fostering positive relationships.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven working experience in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable, with a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and data entry, with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix company, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
