About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Topps Tiles. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability, while delivering exceptional customer service and leading a small store team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a small store team, inspiring them to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement store strategies, driving sales and profitability.
  • Coach and train team members to become product experts, enabling them to make the most of sales opportunities and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Monitor and improve store operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and store presentation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve the customer experience, using leading edge technology to bring projects to life.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of exceeding sales and profit targets.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of the retail industry and market trends.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, and cover alternative locations as required.
